To watch a slackline championship is to be nervous and amazed at the same time. In 2017, at least four competitions are planned throughout the year.

The Slackline World Cup is already taking place in Chile. In all, thirteen Brazilians were selected to participate in the championship.

Slackline World Cup

The Slackline World Cup is one of the most anticipated events in the sport. This year, the competition is being held in Vinã Del Mar, located in Chile, and runs until February 20. This is the first time a South American country has hosted the circuit.

In all, thirteen Brazilian athletes participate in the competition that brings together the best professionals in the world. Spectators can expect extreme maneuvers at a very high level.

Brazilian Slackline Championship on the Water

Combine the adrenaline of slacklining with the spirit of adventure found in a water park. This is how the Brazilian Slackline Championship is held on thewater– the largest competition of the sport(waterline).

In 2016, the championship brought together 16 athletes in the city of Fortaleza, Ceará. This year there is still no prediction of when it will take place. But sports lovers can expect a tournament full of adventure!

Paranaense Slackline Championship

The Paranaense Slackline Championship is also scheduled to take place this year. Generally, the competition is divided into two categories: amateur, for beginners; and elite, for more experienced athletes.

The 2016 edition brought together about 30 competitors and featured several free workshops for spectators, including slackline and stand up paddle (the participant paddles on top of the surfboard).

Slackline is growing in Brazil. In this sense, the championships serve to strengthen the sport and delight those passionate about it.
